Thursday Thread: Dearest Reader, What's your ultimate vision of heaven?
On the flip side, what's your vision of hell? š

Hello, Lovelies,
Iād planned a much more complex thread about curiosity, and how it lights up different parts of the brain, but then I was struck by a much more romantic, slightly hedonistic, merry questionā¦
Whatās your idea of heaven?
See, my idea of heaven isā¦ fresh-baked pains aux chocolates for breakfasts (with zero-cholesterol or gluten effect), tomatoes so gorgeous you want to eat them like apples with the juice dripping down everywhere, a beautiful, ramshackle house filled with all the books in the world, and long, banter-filled dinner parties with the candles burned down to the nub, and love every day, a world free of want, with the girls coming home to visit and bringing all their artist friends to work on projects or to celebrate or to find a total haven when they need it. I donāt mind if our lives are a total zoo of children, animals, and emotional support chickensā¦ Iād take it all as heaven.
So, dear divine reader, what is your idea of heaven? Does it involve chocolate cake for breakfast? Magic spells? Living out life in a film? Zen solitude? Joining the gossamer particles of the universe?
My idea of hell is being separated from it all, of slaving over a hot PowerPoint for the remainder of my days with no connection to family or song of significance to my life.
OK, now you go! The divine bits first and most of allā¦

Inspired. TST post coming soon to answer this question. I do love the idea of a ramshackle house filled with books, though. That sounds wonderfull.
I just want a house that's big enough to hold dinner parties (and any guests who might have overly enjoyed themselves and need to stay the night). I mean, I've done some DP's at my teeny tiny place, but it's nicer if your guests don't have to put the plates on their laps. My friends are chill, though. That would be my idea of heaven...hosting a monthly dinner party (fall/winter) or brunch (spring/summer) because heaven also has a backyard and pool. And there will be dancing. xo
